If the initial bet is made by you or you are the first person in action in a game, you can have two options, you can check (pass the bet) or you can bet. Suppose you bet.
The left player next to you can have three options means he can do three things, he can call which means that player matches your bet exactly, the next option is he can raise the bet which means he makes a bet higher than you or he can drop out or fold his hand.
This betting order keeps on going around to left and continues from player to player. When a bet comes back to you, you also have all the three options as everyone else have – call, raise or fold. Betting round comes to an end when every player calls the last bet and each player in the game has put the equal amount of money, this simply means that these are the players who haven’t folded. Another situation can be when all the players checked and there is no money in the pot.
